Micas Simulations Limited

Micas Services Limited commenced trading in 1977 supplying software for the Forging Industry and in 1995 formed an alliance with QuantorForm in marketing and providing first level support for a Forging Simulation Software package called Form2D (then a 2D dos version).

With Trevor Slater as Managing Director, Micas continued to market and give support for the Forging Simulation Software as QuantorForm's strong technical team improved the software progressing it to a Windows based product. In 1999 the software was renamed QForm and has gone from “strength to strength” serving both 2D and 3D users worldwide becoming a “Best Buy” product.

Initially Micas covered UK customers but their service has grown to included European companies and countries in many other parts of the world.

Since the start of 2005 the Forging Simulation arm of Micas has been trading separately as Micas Simulations Limited with Trevor Slater continuing as Managing Director.
